CAMP DETAILS

Dear Camper and Parents,

Camp Alpha 2010 will be held June 20 - 23, at Morris Area Elementary School and the University of Minnesota, Morris. We are happy that you are coming to our camp and will work very hard to make this an enjoyable and learning filled experience. We look forward to seeing those of you from previous camps and can’t wait to meet our new campers. Should you have any special requests or concerns please let us know. Your children are the most important part of your lives and we feel honored to work with them.

Check in:

Check in will begin at 3:00 p.m., June 20, at Morris Area Elementary School.  The school is located at 151 South Columbia Avenue.  We will check into rooms and have a welcome, introductions, schedules, etc. Parents are invited to stay for the welcome, which begins around 3:30.

Housing:

Overnight campers will be housed at Morris Area Elementary and will be under adult supervision at all times.  For those of you familiar with our camp, this is something new!  We feel there are several advantages to staying at the school, with number one being – Air Conditioning!  We will have cots and mats available and campers may bring an air mattress with them if desired.  We have access to all the same things we had in the dorms but now will need to spend less time moving from one building to another and students will certainly be more comfortable.

Phones:

Although cell phones are welcome, we ask that campers not use them unless absolutely necessary.

Meals:

Meals will begin with supper on Sunday, and end with lunch on Wednesday. If there are special dietary restrictions, please contact us. Day campers will be provided with all meals EXCEPT for the daily breakfast.
