REGISTRATION INFORMATION

IN PERSON—Bring registration and payment to the Community Ed. office, located in the Morris Area Elementary School.

BY MAIL—Send to Morris Area Community Ed., 153 So. Columbia Ave, Morris, MN  56267.

ON-LINE—It’s fast and easy!   Click on On-line Registration.  Requires use of a credit/debit card.

REFUND POLICY—A full refund will be made if enrollment is not sufficient to run the class.  If a class does not meet your expectations, you may request a refund up to two days after the first class meeting.  NO REFUNDS after that time.

OUT-OF-DISTRICT TUITION FOR COMMUNITY EDUCATION CLASSES—If you reside outside of the Morris Area or Cyrus School districts, please include a 20% out-of-district tuition with your fees.  This surcharge helps support Community  Education in the Morris Area School District in the same way that resident property taxes do.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES—It is our policy that no one shall be denied the opportunity to participate in a community education class because of inability to pay.  Contact the Community Education Director to inquire about scholarships.  No more than one wavier or scholarship shall be granted per person per quarter.   Thank you to the Stevens County Family Services Collaborative  for making these scholarships possible.

INSTRUCTORS WANTED!

Community Education is seeking instructors to teach a variety of classes. If you have a special talent or hobby that you would like to teach, please contact our office, 243-7570. Community Education instructors do not have to be certified to teach. Instructors are needed in the areas of crafts and hobbies, health and safety, general interest and skill development, computer education, recreation and youth sports.
