Say Yes to No
This class
will be based on the book
No: Why Kids – of All Ages – Need to Hear It and
Ways Parents Can Say It
by Dr. David
Walsh.
The book emphasizes self-discipline as the most important life
skill that parents and educational leaders can instill in
children to help them achieve future success. Parents often ask
what they can do to raise self-reliant children, and this book
provides parents with the necessary tools to do that.
“Success can be defined in many ways,” said Dr. David Walsh, “Say
Yes to No
defines successful children as those who are self-reliant and
know where the parental boundaries are.” Join us for a book
discussion on this important topic. Books will be available to
check out or purchase.
Fee: $30.00 per family.
This class is
for parents and children ages birth - grade 4. We will have a
parent/child activity time at the beginning of class!
