Morris Area Public Schools Foundation

Through our children and the Morris Area Public Schools Foundation, we can make adifference today in the world of tomorrow.

A Overview

Parents, alumni and community members worked with West Central Initiative to form a foundation to preserve, promote and enhance the quality of education in the Morris Public School and community.

The Advisory Committee includes representatives from alumni, the school, past faculty and parents who all believe Morris Area Schools have the unique advantage of offering the students an exemplary education.

With your help and support, we will not only maintain but enhance the educational opportunities for Morris Area students. The Morris Area Public School has a long and proud history of excellence. The foundation was created to pursue 501©(3) non-profit funding to assure the continuation of that tradition of excellence.

All donations are welcome. Long-Term Gifting Strategies include gifts of insurance, charitable annuities, gifts of retirement funds (beneficiary), living trusts, bequests/wills, and comprehensive estate plans.

Component Funds

The Morris Area Public Schools Foundation includes five sub-accounts. Donations of any amount can be designated to a particular fund.  If no designation is made, the donation will go to the Universal Fund.

Universal Fund

The Universal Fund gives the Advisory Committee the most flexibility in designating funds where most needed.

Education

Donations help provide additional classroom curriculum and continuously improve important programs such as Library, Band, and Choir.

Extra Curricular

Morris Area Public Schools is proud of their Tigers!  Students are able to participate in a wide variety of activities – from Speech to Basketball.  You can continue to cheer, “Go Tigers!”

Endowment

This is the gift that keeps on giving.  The principal is left untouched, while the interest will provide for grants and other needs.

Technology, Equipment & Capital Improvement Fund

Morris Area Public Schools has wonderful technology, but what school couldn’t use updates in some areas?  This fund will allow our school to keep up with changes and be on the cutting edge.

I would like to make a donation!
